Very interesting quote. Thought provoking. I've gotten a little frustrated with my increased in Twitter followers, but no increases in visits and comments on my blog. I suppose, no definitely know that having self is way than having the public. Hmmm... ???
Thanks, Petula! I know I sure struggle between trying to balance all this social networking stuff with just pursuing my writing passion. I admit, I love lots of things about technology, but I do think starting out as a writer a few decades ago seems as if it was a whole lot simpler! ;o)
Gee, thanks Nancy! Ha, ha! Although, I don't believe I'm all that much "youngen-er" than you are! Just a late bloomer when it comes to my writing career. ;o)
I'm a freelance writing, happily married mom of two teens, plus one high-maintenance cockapoo doggie. My articles, essays and short stories have appeared in newspapers, regional and national magazines. I also have a background in marketing and advertising copywriting. I hope you'll stop by my main site at www.hollybowne.com to see the writing services I provide, as well as samples of my work.

Holly- that quote goes right to my heart. I may use it as my theme for this new year. Thank you so much. It actually inspires me to write more.
That's awesome, Nancy! So happy I was able to offer up a little 2013 inspiration for you. :o)

Holly - I did start out as a writer quite a long time ago and it was much, much easier. I leave the new technologies pretty much to you youngens.
